Anna Maria Mason is not buried in the old graveyard near Christ Church, but in the 1808 Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery on Wilkes Street at Hamilton Lane. This is because the city of Alexandria banned burials within the city limits after 1808, so churches purchased plots of land outside the city. There is a memorial page for her in the 1808 cemetery; see #104195636, and she is listed in the burial records for that cemetery. The pictures on your page were taken in the newer cemetery. You have so much great information on your page, I am hoping you will be able to merge with the other memorial. – judi mcg
