Francis W Lapp
Francis W Lapp, 79, of Coshocton Route 2, a retired farmer died Saturday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs Brice Johnston of Coshocton Route 1 , following a three year illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Wills Creek community. He was born 8 February, 1874 a son of Solomon and Josephine Ganson Lapp. Mr Lapp was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and Franklin Grange. Surviving are the widow, Flora Sauer Lapp, whom he married 28 Nov, 1901; two daughters, Mrs Johnston at whose home he died, and Mrs Frank Thresh of Coshocton; a son Neil Lapp of Coshocton Route 1; two brothers George of Irville, Ohio and Melvin of Roscoe; a sister, Mrs Freeda Wheeler of Coshocton and seven grandchildren, Three brothers are deceased. Services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church at 2 pm, Tuesday in charge of Rev F M Koepplin. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Shirer and Son Funeral Home in Adamsville where it will remain until time for services.
