Christina Bohn was born on January 14, 1838 in Langen, Brombach, Hessen, Germany. She was baptized on January 23, 1838 at the Catholic Church of Kirch-Brombach, Hessen, Germany. Her godmother was Anna Marie Straub. At the age of 68, she died at 8:20 on January 10, 1906 at her daughter Christina Medlenka Gerloff's house which was located in the Houston Heights. The cause of death listed on the death certificate was Brighte Disease which was kidney failure. Funeral services were conducted two days later on January 12 at 2 PM from the family residence on the corner of 12th and Courtland to St. Joseph's Church by Rev. Father Banfield. Burial took place at the German Cemetery, Lot H, located on Washington Avenue in Houston.

Nicholas Bohn, immigrated to the United States about 1846 and married in 1857. His 2 eldest children were born in New Orleans, La and 6 more children were born in Pass Christian, Ms. Nicholas raised his family in Pass Christian, Mississippi.
All of these brothers were uncles of Christina Bohn, George "Peter" Bohn, Nicholas "Nic" John Bohn and George Leonard Bohn.

Christina was buried 12 Jan 1906 in the German Society Cemetery, Houston, Tx. The name of the Cemetery was later changed to the Washington Cemetery.
