Clinton Gazette March 22, 1902 C. B. Seivers, and Old Union soldier died on last Sunday morning at four o'clock at his home in the upper end of the Sixth district at the age of 72 years. Mr. Seivers was born and raised in Anderson County, and with the exception of three years spent in the army, has lived here all of his life. He leaves to mourn his death a wife and twelve children. The funeral services were held at the residence conducted by Rev. W. H. Ferris, pastor of the Baptist church, of which church deceased was a member. The remains were interred in the old Leinart cemetery in Dutch Valley Monday afternoon, the services at the grave being conducted by Rev. Fred Seiber.
