Eugenia "Gena" Lillian Peachee Utley, 90, Henderson, died at 2 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at her home.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday school to first-graders. Gena was a dedicated gardener and bird watcher. She was also a member of the Mary Lynn Club, Garden Club and Friends of Audubon and was a Paul Harris Fellow of the Henderson Rotary Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Isaac B. "Ike" Utley, who died June 15, 2007; her parents, Preston Peachee and Verna Lillian Rutledge Hedrick; and three brothers, Keith Rutledge Peachee, Kipling Peachee and David Peachee.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery
