Mrs. MarMrs. Mary A. Slay, about 75 years of age, died very suddenly, it is supposed of heart disease, near Milltown, on last Sunday morning. She was the mother of Messrs. J. B., J. L. and D. P. Slay of this county. She leaves a large number of descendents to mourn her death.

Died, at the residence of Mr. D. P. Slay, on Sunday morning at 3 o'clock, his mother, Mrs. Mary A. Slay, age seventy-five years. We have not learned the particulars, but heart disease is supposed to be the cause. Her remains will be interred today (Monday) at Mt. Hickory church.
