STATESBORO -- Robert H. (Bob) Albertin, 77, died March 25 at home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
The Indiana native had lived in Statesboro for the past six years. He was retired from Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah as a medical illustrator and as an associate professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin after 30 years. He was a Marine veteran of World War II serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was a past member of the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Statesboro.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Virginia Albertin of Statesboro; three sons, Eric Albertin of Milwaukee, Mark Albertin of Augusta, and Craig Albertin of Columbia; three daughters, Susan Hatfield of New London, Wis., Gail Albertin of Watertown, Wis., and Laurel Albertin of Beaufort; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Statesboro, burial in Beaufort National Cemetery.
