When Grandma was just a child, the family migrated from Georgia to Jackson, Cape Girardeau Co., MO where Grandma was reared in Bethel Baptist Church. Her daddy and grandpa were deacons and her daddy was the Sheriff of Cape County.
I'm sure Grandma was reared with a great Patriot spirit as her Grandpa Wicker had fought in the Revolutionary War and she would have been old enough to appreciate the freedom that was secured for us.
Married Jonathon Johnson, Sr. about 1814. Known children:
Jonathan Jr.
David
Martha
Sarah (died age 11 days)
Sheppard (died age 6 yrs, 10 mos, 21 days)
Wilhelmina W. (m Washington Gaither)
Mary Ann (m William Pittman)
