Rev. and Mrs. Hallie Giltner of Rt 2, Milan will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary on Sunday, April 1. Open house will be held at their home on Stringtown Road from 2 until 4:00 o'clock. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Rev and Mrs. Giltner were married in Urbana IL, on March 27, 1912. Here they spent the first five years of their married life. They then moved to Jefferson Co. In 1945 they moved to their present home in Ripley County. This couple was blessed with eight children, including: Mrs. Helen Wilson and Mrs. Rachel Williams of Madison; Mrs. Mary Whitham of Indianapolis, Jewel Giltner of Bellview, David Giltner of Moores Hill, Clifford Giltner of Bright and Carl Giltner of Minneapolis MN. One son, Herbert, passed away in 1947.
