Draft Registration for WW I, 3 MAY 1917 in Anderson county, Kansas home address Fairbury, Nebraka, tall, medium build, brown eyes, dark hair marrried occupation Building Foreman.(same locale as younger brother George)

Census: 1920, age 29 Fort Dodge, Ford county, Kansas with 1st wife, a brick mason.

In 1926 member of the Busboom Brothers Construction company, of Fairbury, Nebraska, removed headquarters to Carthage Missouri in 1927.

Partnered with brother George in Lumber Yard then Construction company starting 1920 along with Joseph R Rauh, removing in 1927 to Carthage, Missouri where brother George was primary leader in gathering six quarries into Carthage Marble Corporation, being its 2nd president when killed 26 May 1930 in a horrific plane crash in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Busboom Brothers were building the McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage as well as about seven projects of schools & courthouses in Kansas & Missouri when George died. Frank & surviving partner Joe Rauh later formed the Busboom-Rauh Construction company removing it to Salina, Kansas where he died.

Census: 1930, age 40 in Fairbury, Jefferson county, Nebraska with 1st wife, widowed mother & two kids (older girl adopted).

Census: 1940, age 49 Salina, Saline county, Kansas with 2nd wife at 207 Greenway road, partner Busboom-Raul Construction company.

They fed me mid-December 1946 when I stopped in Salina on way home after being discharged from the U S Army Air Force in Denver. "Little John" was not at home.

Death: in Salina, Saline county, Kansas.

Mother: Margaret Matske b: 26 OCT 1856 in Iowa(?) (brothers John & George have Illinois on 1930 Federal census).
