Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Moster and Sons Mortuary, Rushville for Carl Dearinger, 83 Arlington, who died unexpectedly at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Rush Memorial Hospital, Rushville.
Revis Brazle and Howard Mountcaste will officiate and burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery, Arlington. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the mortuary.
A son of Marshall and Etta (Miller) Dearinger, he was born Dec. 8, 1897 in Rush County, where he had lived all his life. He was married Aug. 11, 1920 to Lavonne Cassidy, who survives.
Mr. Dearinger was a retired farmer livestock hauler, a member of the Arlington Christian Church and president of the Arlington East Hill Cemetery Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Harold, Indianapolis; two grandsons; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister [Ethel Irene] and three brothers, [Clell], [Chester V.] including a twin brother, Verl.
