He was a physician. He died of apoplexy.
---
Dr. F.O. Cornwell, aged about 38 years, died at his home on Wartrace in Jackson County Tuesday night after seven months' illness from paralysis. The deceased was one of the leading young physicians of the county.
----
Dr. F.O. Cornwell, a well known and highly esteemed physician, died suddenly February 28. He was stricken with paralysis in July but he recovered from that stroke and has had several strokes since, but would always recover. The final stroke came on February 28. The Lord called him away from this world of sorrow and suffering. He was the very picture of health before he was stricken with paralysis. He leaves a wife, eight small children, a father, four brothers, one sister, many friends and relatives to mourn his going away. He was beloved by all who knew him. He had a sunny disposition and was always kind to everyone. He was 34 years, 11 months, and 25 days old. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. William Dycus in the Gladdico Baptist Church.
