Obituary published in the Seattle Daily Times, Seattle, Washington, on Tuesday, January 4, 1949, on page 9, as follows:

THOMAS E. MOLONEY, former Seattle insurance man, died Sunday at his home in Spokane. He was 72 years old.

Mr. Moloney, born in Portland, Or., came to Seattle in 1929. He was associated with the General Insurance Company here. Two years later he moved to Spokane and was with the Old National Insurance Agency at the time of his death.

Surviving are the widow, Nancy; three daughters, Mrs. Donald Morton, Spokane; Mrs. John Lehan, Washington, D.C., and Miss Frances Moloney, Spokane; and two sons, R. E. and Jack Moloney, Seattle. Funeral services will be held tomorrow in Spokane."
