As told to me by my grandmother, May Robley Buchanan, the sister of Jimmy. "At the time of Jimmy's death he was the only surviving child of Marion and Hannah Robley. He died of typhoid fever. Hannah had been standing on the porch and Jimmy had been on the coal shed roof when a funeral procession passed their house during a typhoid epidemic. Hannah said, 'Oh, I wonder who will be next.' Jimmy was the next one to come down with typhoid. His mother, had a breakdown from Jimmy's death. Later she gave birth to three children, all who survived to adulthood."
