Daisy R. Archibald Tucker, 65, Taswell, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at 10:57 p.m. at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
Born June 20, 1942, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late Shelby Archibald and Pearl Bye.
She was a homemaker and attended Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Robert Archibald, and two sisters, Dorothy Noblitt and Alice Fern.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Tucker; three daughters, Donna Smith of Taswell and Doretta Tucker and Debby Sturgeon, both of English; two sons, Dennis and Darrell Tucker, both of Taswell; two brothers, Jim Archibald of New York and Don D. Archibald of English; four sisters, Sylvia Roberts of Jeffersonville, Thelma Seacat of Milltown, Pat Highfill of Eckerty and Betty Conrad of English; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 10, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 11, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Friday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Taswell Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Don Pope.
