Mrs. Mary E. Tritten, 46, 1215 Conkling Ave died Aug 3, 1953 in St. Elizabeth Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born Feb 20, 1907 in Utica, a daughter of John J. Brunnock and Nora Barry Brunnock. She was married to Carl Tritten on Nov. 13, 1939, who died Sept 9, 1951.

Mrs. Tritten attended St. Agnes School and Utica Catholic Academy and graduated from the Excelsior School of Business. She was employed as office secretary of the Catholic Charity. She was honored at the 25th anniversary dinner by the staff of Utica and Rome Catholic Charities and the advisory boards of both staffs. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Rosary-Alter Society, Christ Society and Ladies of Charity of St John's and St Joseph's Home.

She leaves her father and step-mother Mr & Mrs John J. Brunnock, New Hartford; a step-brother, Reed J. Fancher, New Hartford, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be at 9:15 am tomorrow from Quinn & Ryan Funeral Chapel, 800 John St and at 10 from Blessed Sacrament Church, where a solemn requiem high Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
