MRS. GERTRUDE A. WATROUS, 88, of Allen Road, Town of Clay, died yesterday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Watrous was a life resident of Clay. She was the widow of Fred A. Watrous. Mrs. Watrous was a member of North Syracuse Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martha Guetig and Mrs. Merrill Mayne; a son, Ira B. Watrous, all of North Syracuse; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sears Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, the Rey. Ernest M. Laycock officiating. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
