MANSFIELD -- Dorotha Snyder Narivanchik, 80, died

Dorotha Snyder Narivanchik, 80 died, Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Mifflin Care Center after a long illness.

She was born May 27, 1924, in Hancock County, Indiana to the late Charley and Bertha Christopher Snyder.

Dorotha was a member of Four Square Gospel Church in Lucas and Lucas Ladies Four Square International.

She loved to quilt, crochet, make arts and crafts and play bingo. She had previously served as Secretary of Mifflin Care Center and was the 2003 Queen of Mifflin Care Center.

She was a caring person and a great lady who will be remembered as a loving mother and family woman.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Harvey Kahl of Mansfield; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and James Sprang of Lucas; four grandchildren, Cody Kahl of Mansfield, Neil Adams Jr. of Ashland, Michelle and Clayton Ankney of Lucas, and Jimmy and Waynea Hooper of Lexington; four great-grandchildren, Skyler Hooper, Alanys Hooper, Keslyr Hooper, all of Lexington, and Olivya Ankney of Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore Narivanchik in November 1990; daughter and granddaughter, Kathy and Rhonda Kay Hooper; son, Neil Adams Sr.; five sisters; five brothers; and a niece, Gail Sprang.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, at 1 p.m. at Lucas Four Square Gospel Church, officiated by Pastor Bruce McCammon and Pastor Tim Brown. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Square Gospel Church, Lucas, Ohio.
