Lorraine Mueller, 89, a resident of the Willowdale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, for the past two weeks and formerly of Marytown, died at the nursing home Friday morning Nov. 27, after a short illness.
She was born May 2, 1909 in St. Cloud, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Boehnlein Dreifuerst. She attended St. Cloud Catholic Grade School and was married to Alfred Mueller on Oct. 7, 1930 at St. Cloud Catholic Church. After their marriage they farmed in the rural Marytown area until she retired in 1974. Mr. Mueller died in 1960. Lorraine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Romilda Leon and Esther Bergs; three brothers, Elmer, Roman and Francis, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Huss Funeral Home in St. Cloud from 3 until 8 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 29, where a vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown. Rev. Joseph Coerber, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
