Henry was the son of Realis U. Brown and Ida Melinda Page Brown Berryhill. His parents are buried in Broyles Chapel Cemetery,. He was a deacon in North Jackson Baptist Church. He served in The U. S. Air Force during World War II. He shares a stone with his wife, Helen Corbitt Brown, who he married 18 January 1943. He was residing in Palestine in Anderson County at the time of his death there. He was survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen; one son, Hank Brown of San Antonio; sisters, Betty Abbott of Palestine, Dell Clark of Louisiana and Nell Miller of San Antonio; one brother, Grady Pearce of Palestine; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His obituary was published in the Palestine Herald-Press, Tuesday, 2 February 2006.
