Willard Thornburg, 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Willard was born in Fort Worth and raised during the Depression. As a veteran, he served during World War II and participated in Army campaigns held in the Philippines. He was a very generous and caring man. His loving wife, Billie Ruth Thornburg, preceded him in death.
Willard will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by numerous family and friends.
