H. C. Boswell, Restorer Of City Historic Sites
H. Curley Boswell, 64, who was credited with the restoration of historical dwellings throughout the city, died Saturday in Rogers Memorial Hospital after an apparent heart attack. He lived on D Street SE.
Mr. Boswell received The Evening Star Trophy award two months ago for "outstanding public service to the District of Columbia."
A member of the Capitol Hill Southeast Citizens Association for more than 20 years, Mr. Boswell also was zoning authority to the Federation of Citizens Association.
An authority in Washington history, Mr. Boswell was an author of the Capitol Hill Prospectus, a study of the present and future of the Hill area.
He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Barnett and Camille V. Boswell of Washington, and Mrs. Marguerite C. Stewart of Fairfax.
Mass will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 2nd and C Streets SE. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
