George Andrew Price, son of George Ander Jackson Price, and Bessie Mae Satcher. George married Pauline McGowen, 1919 in Mississippi:

YORK, Ala. - Funeral services for George Andrew Price, 61 retired York, Ala., merchant and native of Meridian, who died of a shotgun wound at about 9 p.m. Sunday, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Sumter County Sheriff G. H. Scott in Livingston, Ala., said Robert Miller, 57, of York, Ala., is being held for questioning.

Death occurred on Price's farm about five miles north of Livingston, said Sheriff Scott.

The Rev. J.M. Partridge will officiate at final rites, assisted by the Rev. O.D. Mason. Mr. Price was a veteran of WW I.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Annie Ward Price Tillery of York, Ala.; hismother, Mrs. Bessie Snellgrove of Meridian; two brothers, Clarence of Meridian, and Harold of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Mrs. Christine Price Davis of York, Ala., and five grandchildren.

Interment will be in the York Cemetery.
