Mrs. Charlotte Hood Bird
Mrs. Charlotte Hood Bird died at her home in Dingman Twnsp, Pike County, on Saturday, September 10th, at the age of 72.
The deceased was born in Dingman's Ferry, Pa. on June 20th, 1888, the daughter of Henry B. and Martha Whittaker Van Auken, and had resided in Pike County all her life.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ida Michaels of Bushkill, Pa., Mrs. Gertrude Blunt of Blairstown, Pa., Mrs. Frieda Coykendall of Milford, Pa., and Mrs. Gene Kuhn of Cahoonzie, Pa.; two sons, Ernest Cron of Stroudsburg, Pa, and Daniel Bird of Milford, Pa., one brother, John Van Auken of Barton, Ny., 16 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, neices and nephews.
Interment will be in the Hainesville, NJ Cemetary.
