Mary Jane Little was called Grandziemother. Her childhood memories were knitting and rocking the cradle at the same time. She had two daughters and five sons. The oldest son was Harvey, her "King's" son. She permitted no card playing in her house and blessed the day a door to door saleman sold her a hard bound copy of Hurlburt's Story of the Bible for fifty cents.
Her children were: Bertha, Harvey, Roy, Alfred, Perley, Harland, and Marion.
