James W. Little married Mary Jane Wark June 11, 1890 in Truro, Baptist Church and they settled in Belmont, Nova Scotia, in a new house that was built for them on a rise that caught the sunset. James Little was a farmer who in addition to his own farm, owned and operated farming equipment for his neighbors as far away as Old Barns. His children were Bertha, Harvey, Roy, Alfred, Perley, Harland, and Marion.
