Beloved son of John Henry Diegel of Wapakoneta, AUGLAIZE COUNTY OHIO and his mother Elizabeth nee (Ernsthausen) Diegel.

In the years of 1890-1900 John Henry Diegel and his family moved to Harriman Tn.

Theodore who was born in Wapakoneta Ohio Auglaize county.He graduated from Middlesboro Harriman Tenn in 1905 in engineering.Moved to Detroit to seek his fortune at the young age of 15, by himself.
At the age of 18 he was employed at as an auto mechanic. By the 19th birthday he celebrated, he had opened up The First Street Garage located at 621 First St. corner of First and Fort St. in Detroit MI.One of the first auto repair garages in Wayne county MI.
On April 24, 1917 he married Ellen Josephine Tierney Urban (she was adopted by Anthony J.Urban) daughter of Michael P. Tierney and Mary Farmer of Detroit MI.at Holy Redeemer Church 1721 Junction ave Detroit MI.By 1920 Theodore had 4 employes and major contracts for repairing auto mobiles; companies such as A.A.A ,Checker; CABS, Packard, Hudson,Ford Motor Car Company.
He and his wife had five children. Two sons and three daughters. All of which have sadly passed away.
In 1925 a severe flu hit the Wayne County area, sadly Theodore passed within days. He was very good friends with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leonard of Detroit MI.

He also was a member of the Detroit Golf Club. The Detroit Athletic Club.
Left a large drawn out will which was probated and then sealed??in 1968, however I had it opened in 2001.
