Sylvanus was the son of Timothy Bevan and Elizabeth Barclay (Previously I had his parents wrong as Silvanus Bevan and Jane Philips, who are actually his grandparents). His second wife was Louisa Kendall, they married on September 23rd, 1773 at St. Giles.
