RENNIE W SHREVES

CUMBERLAND ‹ Rennie William Shreves, 90, of Kensington Country House, formerly of New Hampshire Avenue, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at Memorial Hospital.

Born April 17, 1910, in Laneville, W.Va., he was the son of the late William Harrison and Dellie (Teter) Shreves. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marie (Ault) Shreves; two brothers, Bruce Shreves and Bernie Paxton; and two sisters, Thelma Morris and Lula Reid.

Mr. Shreves was an owner/operator of Shreve's Arco, Virginia Avenue, Cumberland. He retired in 1975. He was a member of the Living Stone Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are one son, Charles L. Shreves and wife Inge, Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Mary E. Ierardi and husband Michael, Silver Spring, and Norma J. Judy and husband Donald, Venice, Fla.; one brother, Eston Paxton; one sister, Genevieve Adams; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with his nephew, the Rev. Milton Morris officiating.

Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Flintstone.
