Survivors include his wife, Goldia Boyd of Arcola, IL; five children, Juanita Parrott and her husband Gene of Arthur, Karen Schultz and her husband Stan of Tuscola, IL, Mac Boyd of Arcola, IL, Phyllis Baker and her husband Wally of Pryor, OK and Becky Hausman and her husband Dave of Wagoner, OK; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Wayne Boyd of Murdock, IL, Dale Boyd and his wife Lenore of Argenta, IL and Joe Boyd and his wife Norma of Decatur, IL; and three sisters, Edna Anderson and her husband Harold of Decatur, IL, Florence Davis of Decatur, IL and Jane Whitson and her husband Lynn of Mt. Polaski, IL.
His parents; one son, Duane Glenn Boyd; one granddaughter, Gwen Marie Boyd; two brothers, Lyle Boyd and Jean Boyd; and two sisters, Catherine Wilber and Ruth Wilber preceded him in death.
Glenn attended the Bourbon Baptist Church for over 50 years. He was a farmer his entire life. He farmed in the Arcola area for 54 years, he raised cattle, attended farm sales and was an avid tool collector. Glenn also enjoyed fishing and camping.
