He was the son of Arvil and Grace Tate Baugh, having lived his entire life in the Bono and Jonesboro areas. He was a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ. He proudly served in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was affiliated with Farmers Union Funeral Home and Roller Funeral Homes for 50 years. He was the manager of Farmers Union Funeral Home for 43 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Coleman Baugh of the home; one son, Harold James Baugh, Jr., Lt Col, USAF (Ret) and his wife Lou Ann of Paragould; two grandsons, Ryan James Baugh of Oxford, MS and Cory Jonathan Baugh of Paragould; one brother, Jack Baugh of Lake City; and two sisters, Barbara Curtner and Pauline Coleman both of Jonesboro.
A private committal service will be held at the Nettleton Cemetery.
