Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pilgrim Holiness Church for Mrs. Mollie Swift, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Crowe, Sunday night, cause of death being coronary thrombosis. The Rev. Arnold Keyes conducted the service and burial was in Little Priaire cemetery.
Mrs. Swift, nee Meyers, was born July 4, 1885 in east Tennessee. She was married to the late Will Swift and they were parents of three sons and five daughters, seven of whom survive. They are Haskel Swift of Waynesburg, Ky., James and Gordon Swift of Caruthersville, Mrs. Sidney Boyles of Duncan, Okla., Mrs. Laura Barnett of St. Joseph, Mich., Mrs. Crowe and Mrs. Beatrice Goodman of Caruthersville. Twenty-three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.
