Elsie Cornelia Wright

After many weeks of patiently-borne suffering, Elsie Wright passed on Thursday, the 24th of July, in her 24th year.

She was the only daughter of William and Sarah Wright, and was born in West Grove. While still a very young child, she was taken into the family of Dr. William Betts, where she found a happy home until she grew into womenhood, receiving every kindness and care.

About five years ago she came to West Chester and has made her home with her mother since that time, showing herself an affectionate and dutiful daughter in her second home, where she will be sadly missed.

Elsie was a girl of a retiring and admirable disposition, and a gentle and loveable nature. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Chruch, and also of the Girl's Friendship Society. Her patience and cheerful courage endeared her to all who knew her, and she leaves behind her only sweet and tender memories.

She is survived by her mother and two brothers, Clifford and William Wright, the later a graduate of Girard College.
