Frank fisher 97, Allen Twp native, died March 30 in Parkview Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of the Avilla community and resided on S. Main St. for many years. He at one time was owner of a grocery on E. Albion St., an auctioneer and a contractor. He was a 1920 graduate of Jones National School of Auctioneering in Chicago, Ill., and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Avilla. He was born July 17, 1887, the son of Moses and Elnora (Moree) Fisher. He married Flossie Gregory June 28, 1913 in Albion. She died in 1958. Surviving are two sons, Kermit and J. C., both Avilla; three daughters, Hazel Keith and Cleta Gibbons, Indianapolis, Hilda Brown, North Town, Tonawanda, N. Y.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Donald and Dalton; one grandson; one granddaughter; one brother and seven sisters preceded him in death. Services Wednesday at Brazzell Funeral Home, Avilla. Burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery
