Howard Atkinson has left Wabash and located at LaPorte, where he will engage in breeding horses, principally heavy draft.

Howard Atkinson, a Wabash banker, well known in Fort Wayne both socially and in a business way, was stricken with pneumonia while on a trip in Oklahoma and died in Oklahoma City last evening.

LEFT LARGE ESTATE.
It is reported that Howard Atkinson, who died at Wabash last week, left an estate of perhaps a half million. He carried life insurance aggregating $160,000. Two firms of which he was a member had loaned in Oklahoma a million and a half. Numerous enterprises throughout Indiana were projected by him, and he had materially increased the wealth his father left him. J.T. McNary, of this city, has been associated with the Atkinsons since 1876 and has handled large amounts of their money for them.
