Isaac Thornburg came to Highland, Ohio in 1813, and to Randolph County, Indiana in 1830. He settled two miles east of Windsor and entered 160 acres of land. Isaac and most of his family lived in Stoney Creek Township, Randolph County, Indiana and were members of Sparrow Creek (Poplar Run) Monthly Meeting when it was set up. More particularly they were members of the Hardshaw Meeting for worship until it was laid down in 1834.
