Mrs. L. T. Stoddard, who had been in bad health for many months at her home west of Olean, died Dec. 1, 1936, and the funeral was held at the Olean Christian Church Thursday, Dec. 8, by the Rev. A.L. Alexander.

Zilpha L. Jones was born Dec. 25, 1861, and was married to Louis T. Stoddard Dec. 25, 1884. To this union two children were born, one of whom preceded the mother in death several years ago. She is survived by her aged husband, a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Campbell, a twin brother, Dick Jones of New Mexico, and one grandchild.

Mrs. Stoddard was a member of the Christian Church at Olean for several years. She was a home-loving mother and a good woman, careful about her work and her influence in the community in which she lived for years. After suffering in poor health for some time, death came to her as a peaceful sleep.
