They arrived in Mitchell, Ontario, Canada with their children Flora Ann, Mary Louisa, Candace Jane, George Thomas, John Robert, Jane Elizabeth, and Levi William in the year 1874. While in Canada Bella Elizabeth, Louisa Lill, Alice Gertrude, Dorcas Ellen and Lillian May were born. It was about 1886 when the family chose Michigan as their home.
