Mrs. Wade (Emma Monska) Rambo, 78, of 1536 W. Waggoner St., died 1:50 p.m. Tuesday (April 17, 1984) in St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa, Fla.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran Church with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home and after 9 a.m Monday in the church. Burial will be in Luthran Cemetery. Memorials: St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Mrs. Rambo was born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, daughter of William and Emilie Monska. She was the retired owner of Rambo's Tavern, a former employee of Mueller Co. and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She married Wade Rambo in 1925. He died in 1950.
Surviving are her sons, James E. of Mt. Zion; Norman of Decatur; daughter, Mrs. G.L.(Betty) McClelland of Decatur; brother, Paul Monska of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
One son, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
