The people of Scottsville were grieved to hear of the tragic and untimely death of the young Mr. Bailey of near this place last Friday. Mr. Bailey was painfully afflicted with an uncurable disease and becoming despondent and tired of life he terminated his suffering by shooting himself throught the temple with a 22 caliber rifle. We extend to the family and immediate friends our sympathy.

Mr. Bailey was Buford Bailey, son of Henry A. Bailey of Newton Springs. He ws born at Rock Springs.

He leaves four brothers, Stanley of Washington, and Ben, Charles and Harry of Atwood, Okla., and his father to mourn his death.

Funeral services were conducted at Boiling Springs Cemetery by Rev. F. M. Hudson Friday at 5 o'clock in the presence of many sorrowing friends and relatives.
