F. M. was a self made man, he was a much respected independent Oil Man, and the owner and founder of the North Caddo Hayride. He was also a well respected member and former leader of the Pine Street Church of Christ in Vivian, La.

Mr. Hale was born to the late F. M. Hale, Sr. and wife Edith, in Vivian, LA. where he made his home after marrying in 1941. Together he and his wife raised 7 children.

Those left behind with loving memories are his wife of 47 years, Chetta Hale, three sons, Frank Hale & wife Johnnie Fay, Nathan Hale & wife Becky, and Johnny Hale, 4 daughters Edith Ann Weddel & husband Will, Louann Barlow & husband William, Cindy Rushing & husband Ricky, and Merry Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Thomas Jake Williams.

Services were held at the Pine Street Church of Christ on September 23, 1988 at 2 p.m.
