Joseph married second to Louella "Lou" Cochran (1856-1887), daughter of David N. Cochran and Mary Elizabeth Rickard, on November 23, 1882 in Brookville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. They had two children: Mary Elizabeth (1883-1954) and David N. (1885-1907).
Joseph married third to Mary Belle Davis on May 22, 1887, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Their children: William Bernard born August 14, 1888; John Canning (1891-1918); and Myrtle Geneva born 1894). Joseph and Mary Belle's marriage ended in divorce and she reclaimed her maiden surname.

Joseph Finley Ozman, 12 Dowling street, died at 11 o`clock last Sunday morning at the home of Frank Breffitt (Note: There`s a Frank Breffitt that is the 2nd husband to his son Joseph`s widow, Zella) after an illness of two years of paralysis. He was 73 and 2 months old, having been born in New York State April 25, 1850. His parents were John and Elizabeth Ozman. His wife was Mary J. Hendricks, of New Bethlehem. By trade Mr. Ozman was a painter. Children surviving Mr. Ozman include Hattie G., wife of Frank Leidinger, Cumberland, Md., Alyce M., wife of Captain W. S. Brimble, USA of Indiana, Ill., and Harvey R., of Brookville. Mr. Ozman was a member of the Methodist church and of the Knights of Pythias. Funeral services were conducted at the Breffitt home yesterday by Dr. W. P. Murray, with interment in Brookville cemetery.
