Edith Lee Didier, 97, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Sunday, August 30, 2009 at her daughters home in Springdale.

She was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church and the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Didier in 2000.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Pearson and her husband Larry of Springdale; one son, Jimmie Lee Didier of Mount Ida, AR; five grandchildren, J. Lee and Bryan Didier both of Fort Smith, Randy Didier of Fort Myers, FL, Kara Moore and Marla Pearson both of Springdale; eleven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Pearson, Greg Moore, Chris Bideler, J. Lee, Brian and Jimmy Didier.
