Death Takes 89-Year-Old Resident
Mrs. Delphine VanEynde, 89, of 1913 Seventh Ave., Norway, died unexpectedly at 9:45 a.m. today at Anderson Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
She was born May 15, 1881 in Belgium and came to Norway 69 years ago with her husband, the late Joseph Van Eynde. They were married July 15, 1901 in Belgium.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Albert (Madeline) Cappaert of Kimberly, Wis.; Mrs. Arvid (Margaret) Bolan of Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Peter (Mary) VanGasse, Miss Leontine VanEynde and Mrs. Adolph (Justine) Ziller of Norway; three sons, Alphonse of Vulcan; Frank and Charles of Norway; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the Asp Memorial Funeral Home in Norway from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Liturgical services will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeal home and 10 a.m. at St. Barbara's church in Vulcan. The Rev. Fr. Thomas Ruppe will officiate.
Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.
