My dad Norman Eyles Carter JR. served in the USAF for 22 years with tours of duty in French Morocco, Korea,
France and Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medals.
In later years he was a member of the Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, in San Antonio and was a Stephen
Minister.
My dad had a great laugh the deep belly laughs, no one in this world
could laugh like him. I still hear his laugh in my head.
I miss him very much.
