Funeral services for Pauline Hettie Chapman, 88, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral services, interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County.
Born on Sunday, June 5, 1921, she was a native of Wayne County. An office clerk with the Mississippi Forestry Department, she died on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Wyndham House in Hattiesburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Wynona Chapman Winfield of Purvis and Barbara Chapman Doherty of Hattiesburg; a sister, Ollie Stanley of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Trae Norsworthy of Baton Rouge, La., Brandon Norsworthy of Clinton, Christopher Chapman of Jackson and Kimberly Chapman of Brandon; and four great-grandchildren, Chandler Moralis of Mobile, Ala., Polly Moralis of Mobile, Thomas Clemmons of Mobile and Mason Daniels Norsworthy of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Chapman; a son, Paul Chapman, Jr.; four brothers, Roy Windham, Grady Windham, Huey Windham and Elbert Windham; a sister, Idell Gray; and a granddaughter, Monica Moralis.

Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro is in charge of arrangements.
