Virginia Kilpatrick Harper, 75, of Ponte Vedra Beach, died May 9, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Gainesville. Mrs. Harper was a native of Asheville, N.C., and had resided here for the past 37 years. Mrs. Harper was a member of the Palms Presbyterian Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, a stewardess for Eastern Airlines, longtime Chapter One Reading teacher at Webster School, and was organist for Christian Scientist Church.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Private burial services will be held at St. Augustine Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors: Her mother, Mary Wallin Rice, St. Augustine; daughter, Jennifer Zedalis, Gainesville; son, James C. Harper, St. Augustine; two stepgrandsons and one great-stepgranddaughter.
