2) Excerpt from wife's bio section: "... she met and married David Crockett Garner in 1915. Grace and "Davy" moved near Dallas, Texas where Davy owned a small cafe. Grace and Davy had 8 children together before he drowned in a lake near Dallas at age 36. It was said he was a very good swimmer and no one seems to know why he drowned. At any rate, poor Grace was left to face this tragedy with 8 young children." ~
