Jim was born to Ida Lee (King) Schildgen and Peter James Schildgen.
Jim married Catherine Mae "Kitty" OWENS in 1944 in Oswego, Kansas.
ANNIVERSARY: Sept. 19, 1944
Sept 16, 1946 he enlisted in the U.S. Army. (Fort Riley) He served during WWII.
He worked for Katy RailRoad as a brakemen and Sears.
In 1964, he and his wife (Kitty) opened Schildgen Photography and had the privilege of photographing many class pictures, weddings, reunions and other important events in the lives of families of Southeast Kansas.
Parsons was always home to Jim. He and Kitty toured fulltime throughout the United States and Canada in their Airstream travel trailer after retirement in 1976. After their travels, they lived in Key Largo, Big Pine Key and Marathon, Florida.
Eventually moving to the Lakeview and Bull Shoals, Arkansas area.
Jim and Kitty never had any children, although they had MANY nieces and nephews to love :)

He was cremated and ashes buried in cemetery next to his wife, Kitty Schildgen.
