Wm. Houchins, aged about 70 years, who has been making his home with the family of Mrs. J. F. Houchins for many years, died quite suddenly Wednesday evening. He had been in town during the day and seemed to be in good health at the time. He was an uncle of the late J. F. Houchins. His remains were laid to rest yesterday at 4 p. m. in the city cemetery.—Halletsville New Era
